Mrs. Branscome has lived in Niceville, Florida all her life, and, believe it or not, graduated from Niceville High School in 1983. After high school, she received her Associates of Arts from Okaloosa Walton Community College. From there, she went on to the University of West Florida, where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Vocational-Technical Studies/Vocational Program Development in May 1998.
She has been on staff at Niceville High School since July, 1986. She began as the principal's secretary and stayed in that position until August, 1998, when she began her teaching career. In 1990, she was selected by the Okaloosa County School District as the Non-Instructional Employee of the Year. In May 2008, Mrs. Branscome had the honor of being selected as Okaloosa County School District's 2009 Teacher of the Year.
During her time at Niceville High School, she has taught Business Systems Technology 1 and 2, Visual Basic Programming, Digital Design 1, Web Design 1 and 2, and Algebra 1A.
She earned her CIW Associates and Professional Certifications, as well as the i-NET+, IC3, and Master HTML 4.01 Certifications, and recently earned her Dreamweaver 8 Certified Developer.
