Presenting to a packed house, the five Web site finalist teams presented their Web sites to city officials, students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

After much deliberation, the City of Valparaiso’s official judges selected Team Swag’s Web site to represent the City in their venture to present a more positive view of the City of Valparaiso through the city’s Web site.

Five teams presented their Web sites to the City:

Team Swag lead by Project Managers Brayton Miles and Jessica Gunn
Dream Team lead by Project Manager Maddie Hsiang
Blue Crew lead by Project Manager Allen Bradley
Aristos lead by Project Managers Jacob Clark and Tyler Head

Thirty-five teams designed Web sites for the EWS competition.  Beginning the project on February 21, the teams collaborated to design a site using their creative and coding talents.

Congratulations to all the Web Design 2 students who participated in the Eagles Website Showdown.  I am very proud of all that you accomplished during this competition.  You all did an amazing job on your Web sites.  The judges were VERY impressed and had a VERY difficult time selecting the top Web sites.
